Dickenson County E-911 is a consolidated Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) and Dispatch Center. We are responsible for answering all 911 calls in Dickenson County, and dispatching the Clintwood, Clinchco and Haysi Police Departments, as well as the Breaks Interstate Park, in addition to the Dickenson County County Sheriff’s Department and the Virginia State Police, the Clintwood, Clinchco, Haysi and Sandy Ridge Volunteer Fire Departments,  also the Clintwood, Haysi and Sandy Ridge Rescue Squads, the Dickenson County  Ambulance Service, and  the Dickenson County Animal and Litter Control, Virginia Conservation Police, the Virginia Department of Forestry as well as VDOT on certain occasions.
